Linda Andrews is born and raised in Tórshavn, the Faroe Islands, where she began singing in the local church before moving to Copenhagen at the age of 21 to pursue music as her profession. Linda started her career by providing backing vocals for numerous Danish and international artists, including Blå Øjne, Clemens, The Antonelli Orchestra, Carola, Johnny Logan, SNAP, Turbo B, and more. Additionally, she has been part of the major production of the musical Atlantis and has participated in various editions of the Melodi Grand Prix. Linda served as a jury member in DMGP 2018 and has performed for Her Majesty the Queen and the Crown Prince Couple in 2016, 2019, and 2022.

Winner and celebrity

In 2009, Linda Andrews won X Factor with Lina Rafn as her mentor. The winning song, "Det Bedste Til Sidst," debuted at #1 on the charts. The single received platinum status, selling over 35,000 downloads, making it the 9th best-selling single of the year. Following this success, Linda's career took off, and she has since participated in a variety of radio and TV programs, including Djævleræs, Til Middag Hos, Danmark Har Talent, Aftenshowet, Go' morgen Danmark, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, and the program Diva on the Faroese national radio.

Linda Andrews is known for her powerful voice, and many consider her one of the leading soul/pop/gospel singers in the Nordic region. She has led some of the best gospel choirs in Greater Copenhagen and has been the leader, conductor, and soloist of the Farum Gospel Choir since 2015, boasting an impressive 100 active members. In addition to her musical endeavors, Linda successfully conducts workshops centered around singing and gospel.

Linda has embarked on numerous tours in Denmark, gaining recognition for her outstanding church concerts where she seamlessly blends pop, soul, and gospel into her unique and captivating musical expression. With a total of 7 solo albums and several singles under her own name, Linda Andrews is now poised for a new and exciting project named "The LAB Inc."

2023: Denmark tour with "Celebrating George Michael," Masterclasses, Workshops, Concerts under own name in DK, Release of "Changes" with The LAB Inc.

2022: Performance with Nicolai Lee Kaas for Her Royal Majesty Queen Margrethe's 50th anniversary on the throne at Christiansborg (TV2). Church concerts, workshops. Record deal with Giant Sheep Music and The LAB Inc.. Release of "Feelgood Party," "Recharged," and "Ultrasonic."

2021: Denmark tour with Soulmission and Jacob Sveistrup, 30+ church concerts, masterclasses, and workshops.

2020: Denmark tour with Anders Blichfeldt, Tour with Soulmission, James Sampson, and Jacob Sveistrup. 30+ Uncover + church concerts. Workshop in Germany. Solo release of the Christmas album: "Merry Christmas" on own label.

2019: Performance for Her Royal Majesty Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, and Crown Princess Mary at Fredensborg Church. The concert was broadcasted on DR1. Concerts with Sønderborg Symphony Orchestra. Denmark tour with Anders Blichfeldt. Gospel workshops, various church concerts.

2018: Jury member for Denmark at Eurovision. Concert release on DK4 with "Live At Studio 55" featuring own material and release. Christmas tour with Anders Blichfeldt. Masterclasses and workshops. Own radio program series "Diva" on KVF (Faroe Islands National Radio)

2017: Performance for Her Royal Highness Queen Margrethe on her 70th birthday at the Opera. Backing for the Danish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Denmark tour with Anders Blichfeldt. Masterclasses and workshops.

2016: Various TV appearances including Hjertegalla, Aftenshowet, Go'Morgen DK. Tour with "Prince Celebration". Masterclasses and workshops.

2015: Christmas tour with Jesper Lundgaard and Annette Heick. Church concerts, Masterclasses, and workshops.

2014: Denmark tour with Clemens, "Singles Collection". Church concerts, Masterclasses, and workshops.

2013: Denmark tour. Release of singles "Never Gonna Let You Down". Church concerts, Masterclasses, and workshops.

2012: Eurovision Song Contest (Backing vocals for the Slovenian entry). Release of single: "Tears". Church concerts, Masterclasses, and workshops.

2011: Christmas tour in the Faroe Islands, various church concerts, workshops, and masterclass.

2010: Zulu Djævleræs, "Til middag hos" on TV3, Christmas album: "Tænder et lys" (NAXOS), Concert in Greenland.

2009: Winner of X-factor on DR, Double Platinum for "Det Bedste Til Sidst". "Into the Light" (SONY) X-Factor tour. Christmas album: "Minnir íð Fløva" (NAXOS) Awarded the honorary citizen medal in hometown Thorshavn.

2008: Various concerts and workshops, Complete Vocal Institute. Release of "Revelation" (Own label), Musical: "A Real Adventure" (H.C. Andersen 100th anniversary), Backing for Danish Melodi Grand Prix.
